8th Street

8th Street has quickly established themselves as one of the most entertaining bands on the Tuscaloosa music scene. The four-piece group combines amazing showmanship from their dual lead guitar and vocalists with a tight rhythm section, creating an incredibly dynamic live show. 8th street embraces elements from classic rock, Motown, and jam to produce a unique sound that leads to a great party atmosphere. Frank Burford, Peyton Yarbrough, Chambers Waller, and Caldwell Vaughan formed the band 8th Street in 2009 while attending the University of Alabama. Their first live show at Harry's Bar packed the bar to capacity and featured guest stars such as William Waller and Ben Burford (Chevy 6). The success of their early shows has helped them garner the attention of the local music scene. 8th Street has continued to play throughout Birmingham and Tuscaloosa and they are eager to spread their reach to other cities throughout the Southeast.
