Big Nekkid

The Big Nekkid is a rock quartet based out of Birmingham, AL. Lead singer and guitarist Ben Brooks, bassist Will Sommerville, and drummer Roger Jones grew up in Selma, AL, while lead guitarist Taylor Garrett, who joined the group in March of 2009, is from Dothan, AL. The Big Nekkid formed in Selma as a three piece in 2002, playing fraternity parties and college bars when they could while being away at Universities in different cities. Lead guitarist Morgan Duncan joined in 2004 making The Big Nekkid a quartet. This college band became a full-time band in 2006 and since have been playing colleges, and campus bars, across the southeast. Their sound can be described as a southern blend of rock, blues, and funk.
